Exercise through walking with the BungyPump training pole

Supplier: Halsa Ltd

More Halsa Ltd details
BungyPump is a training pole that offers a versatile and social way to exercise through walking. The device was originally developed as a summer training aid for elite cross-country skiers, but is now available to users of all levels of fitness, age or ability.

At the heart of the training pole is a built-in suspension system with resistance of 4kg, 6kg or 10kg. Walking with BungyPump activates 90 per cent of the body’s muscles and burns 77 per cent more calories than regular walking and 30 per cent more than walking with rigid poles, according to the Swedish manufacturer.

The device can also be used for stationary exercise as a training enhancement. More than 50 such exercises are available, and have already been used in a range of fitness activities.

BungyPump is currently used by walkers, including those who have previously used Nordic poles, regular trainers and elite athletes in a wide range of disciplines, as well as those wishing to take up some form of physical exercise to improve fitness in a social way.

BungyPump is the unique training pole that has 20 cm of inbuilt suspension. You get much more from your training than you can do using conventional walking poles - a stronger body, greater calorie consumption and better fitness. The poles can be used for walking and running but are also perfect to use as a strength training tool for both indoor and outdoor training.
