Form launches yoga mats to minimise environmental impact

Supplier: Form Fitness

More Form Fitness details
The mats are made from recycled natural rubber and plastic bottles
Form, a London-based fitness brand which aims to "take more carbon out of the atmosphere" than what goes into it during the manufacturing process, has unveiled yoga mats designed to combat single-use plastic waste.

The mats, which are produced in collaboration with sustainability charity SolarAid, feature a vibrant design of glyphs and intersecting circles and are made from recycled natural rubber and plastic bottles.

Fully reusable and washable, the mats are free from silicones and toxic glue, and are phthalate-free.

Toby Marshman, Form co-founder of Form, said: "We wanted to create a product which not only helps you improve your performance and fitness, but also helps the environment at the same time."

"In a world of rapid environmental degradation, we believe every choice we make in life should aim to minimise our environmental impact. All our mats are carbon-negative, made of recycled materials and are recyclable or biodegradable at the end of life," Marshman adds.
