Thornton Sports’ manufacturing division, Nordon, has invested in a new state-of-the-art synthetic grass tufting machine to satisfy the demand for synthetic pitches.
The modified electronic ‘tuftomatic’ will increase the speed of the manufacturing process of Thornton Sports’ Premier and Classic sand-dressed and sand-filled surfaces.
The company has recently installed its surfaces for hockey, tennis and football at Alderley Edge Hockey Club, University College of Plymouth and The Hurlingham Club in London.
