Three high velocity drops create an energetic experience
Canada’s Calaway Park has opened a new log flume manufactured by WhiteWater Attractions.
‘Timber Falls’ takes riders through three high velocity drops and a zig-zag river section in the themed adventure at the Calgary, Alberta, park.
Three interactive themed buildings provide entertainment as visitors queue for the ride, while spectators can access two water cannons and get in on the action from a viewing area. A photo booth completes the experience.
“Being our first themed ride, not only does it thrill our guests with high velocity drops, it interacts with them in the entertaining, fast moving queue line,” said Bob Williams, general manager at Calaway Park. “Timber Falls is a game changer; it aligns with the overall growth plan for the park.”
Canada’s Kostam Design Inc provided general construction of the attraction.
